Drivers should be prepared for delays heading south out of El Dorado on US Highway 77 next week. Repairs on the BNSF bridge on South Main will cause that road to be down to one lane. The reduction in lanes will allow the contractor to make repairs on the bridge beams damaged from a vehicle strike. BNSF has the project scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 1 through 5, but it may not take the entire five days to complete. Please use caution when driving in the area.
