For the last four weeks many of our customers may have noticed a different taste or odor in their water. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment recommends running free chlorine for a period of 3-4 weeks each year to insure the health of water distribution systems. The water is still safe to drink during this time, but some can smell chlorine in their water. This normal maintenance procedure insures we will have the "best tasting water in Kansas" the rest of the year. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the water department.
