The Kansas Department of Transportation North Main Street bridge repair project is expected to begin on April 11 and be completed about mid-June.
The project will install a new overlay on the bridge deck and replace the south bridge joint. During the work, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction and signs will direct motorists to decrease their speed. In addition, at times throughout the project, traffic will be limited to right turns only into and out of Dillons, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut on Main Street.
PBX Corp. and Subsidiary, of Sapulpa, OK, is the primary contractor for the $260,766 project.
